CURRENTS AND FIELDS

B = [μ0I]/[2πr].

∑ Bparallel ΔL = μ0Iinc.

Ampere's Law

Field of a current loop, B = [μ0I]/[2R] at center.

B = [Nμ0I]/[2R] becomes B = μ0nI.

A toroid, an “endless” solenoid, has proven to be very useful in physics research. Again, it is easily analyzed using Ampere's Law.

Simple non-calculus version of the Biot-Savart law, and a simple example it can solve. Use the equation for B at the center of a loop of current, as we found above, and modify it for the specific current segments involved in a specific problem.
