Instructions / Notes:
- To Faculty:The gun will already be set and the power supply turned on.
- Insert metal shaft on the doll's head into the electromagnet and load the orange bullet just before shooting if not done already.
- Pull the red and white string located on the rear release mechanism to shoot a bullet towards the doll.
- The gun is aimed at the "monkey". When you shoot, the "monkey" jumps from
the tree, but you still hit it.
- (There is a video of this demo in use at the bottom of this web page.
Reset Instructions for Demo Office - and - faculty, if need be.
WARNING: Be careful!! The launcher can be released quite easily and fast, so you may get hurt. Make
sure your fingers are out of the way at all times as much as possible. Try not to disrupt the
release mechanism once set before shooting.
STEP 1 - SETTING UP THE U-SHAPED ARM AND RELEASE LEVER
- Pull the u-shaped lever all the way back. While holding the u-shaped lever, adjust the release lever/latch (that has a string attached to it) until the u-shaped arm is resting on top of the lip on the lever.
- The rear release lever/latch prevents the spring loaded U-shaped arm from releasing.
STEP 1 - CONTINUED.
- When the u-shaped lever is set, - you'll be able to clearly see the front trigger (see below).
STEP 2 - SETTING THE PLUNGER & FRONT TRIGGER.
- Pull the plunger of the gun until 4 or 5 holes show. Whilst holding that in place, pull the
front trigger back until the plunger gets "stuck".
- Now the release mechanism is set! Pull the string to release the gun when ready.
