



The purpose of SCUWiP is to encourage and provide support for undergraduate women to continue in physics by providing them with the opportunity to experience a professional conference, information about graduate school and professions in physics, and access to other women in physics of all ages with whom they can share experiences, advice, and ideas.
SCUWiP 2013 includes…
The South Central Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (SCUWiP/2013) is one of six such conferences that will be held in the United States over January 18–20, 2013. SCUWiP/2013, which will be held at The University of Texas at Austin, will primarily draw applicants from Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Arkansas, although applicants are welcome from any place in the U.S. Other hosts of Conferences for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) January 18–20, 2013 include Caltech, Cornell, Colorado School of Mines, the University of Central Florida, and the University of Illinois.
