The purpose of SCUWiP is to encourage and provide support for undergraduate women to continue in physics by providing them with the opportunity to experience a professional conference, information about graduate school and professions in physics, and access to other women in physics of all ages with whom they can share experiences, advice, and ideas.

SCUWiP 2013 includes…

  • Talks about research at the leading edge of physics by distinguished physicists,
  • Panel discussions about summer research opportunities and graduate school,
  • Panel discussions about careers in physics,
  • Laboratory tours,
  • Student research talks and poster sessions,
  • And ample opportunity for presenters and students to interact with one another.
