Conference Location
Conference sessions will be held at the Joe C. Thompson Conference Center Auditorium — Room 1.110. The building is located on the northeast corner of the University of Texas' campus in Austin, Texas. Hotel
A block of rooms for the evenings of November 5th, 6th and 7th is available at the Doubletree Club Hotel Austin at a nightly rate of $99. Call 512/479-4000 and mention "Sudarshan Symposium" to qualify for the discount. Rooms are limited so reservations should be made asap and must be made by October 5th.

The Doubletree Club Hotel is centrally located off I-35 at 15th Street, adjacent to the University of Texas campus and 0.9 miles from the Thompson Conference Center. The hotel is less than ten minutes from Austin Bergstrom International Airport and within minutes of all major Austin attractions and landmarks. Complimentary high-speed internet access is available in all guest rooms. The hotel also features a business center, an Au Bon Pain Bakery Café, a cocktail lounge, game room, pool and fitness center. Transportation
A taxi ride to/from the Austin Airport to the hotel costs $8-12 one-way. SuperShuttle ($10 per person) service is also available.

The Thompson Conference Center is located within a reasonable walking distance of the Doubletree Hotel such that you will not need to rent a car, however, all the major car rental agencies are represented at the Austin Airport. Shuttle service between the Doubletree Hotel and the Thompson Conference Center will be available.
