I am a
third-year graduate student
in the Physics Department at The University of Texas in Austin.
I received a BS degree in Physics
and Mathematics from Mary Washington College in May
2002.
I am originally from Guercif, a small village in Eastern Morocco. Guercif lies halfway between
the historic city of Fez and the easternmost city of
Oujda.
My academic interests lie in fundamental
theoretical physics, i.e. the physics of the fundamental constituents of matter and
their interactions. Currently I am studying
compactification of M-theory on singular spaces of G_2
holonomy.
