CPS-record in the homework service (3/18/04)

In the homework service,  CPS-grading program is now working. The grading is based on following scheme. Maximum point per class is 3.

Instructors, please make sure that your HW-service account is setup properly so that the CPS- record can be properly transferred into your homework service account. Here is a reminder. To setup the cps-transfer, in your HW-service-account use button 2.7: "setup (modify) grading"

You may view the "classtalk" record using button 2.3 and 2.8. Once you have verified that the cps-record has been transferred into your account, please make an announcement to your class. Ask each student to verify the accuracy of  his/her own record. Student's HW-service-record should agree with the information given in Sec. II.1 on the UT-cps-homepage at http://www.ph.utexas.edu/~ctalk/.

UT-cps-project is responsible for an accurate transfer of computer file information from lectern computer to the HW-Service. If student have any request on alteration of points, not related to the computer-error, should contact the instructor directly. If it is deemed appropriate, the instructor/TA may alter the points manually using button 2.8.

Deadline of complaints: Complaints on computer related error must be submitted to UT-cps-support on or before 5pm, on Monday, May 10.

If you have any question, please email UT-cps-support at ctalk@physics.utexas.edu
