Re: Sign up for using CPS in Summer04 and/or Fall04

Dear Colleague,

Would you like to use the cps-system either in Summer04 and/or Fall04? The signup links are now ready. Please go to Sec. I.2 at http://www.ph.utexas.edu/~ctalk/. Click Summer 04 for using the system during this coming summer. Click Fall04 for using it in the upcoming fall.

We will review the signup information from time to time. If the classroom you have signed up for is not equipped with the cps-system, Morrie Schulman of the Center of Instructional Technology will contact you to work with you, requesting to have the equipment installed.

If you are not sure whether you would like to use the system, you may read the page on "Is cps appropriate for you?", which is linked to the end of the signup line. You may also contact us, or Morrie (who conducts regular cps-training sessions) through email. If you are in Biology, you could also talk to your colleagues. Some names come to mind are Art Wood, Sata Sathasivan, Dee Silverthorn and others (See I.2, class date for current users, Sec. III on "Who have used cps in the past?").

If you are a current user, we would like to remind you that cps-survey information is now available at UT-cps-bulletin item #39. We encourage you to take a few minutes of your class time do the survey before the semester is over.

Finally please forward this information to your colleagues, if you think they may be interested in using the system. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact myself, Vicki or Morrie.
