Re: Need your timely
support
Dear Colleague,
Most likely you are
reading this message in the middle of a busy research and teaching schedule. I
understand that this is a very intense time of the semester. I am in a very
similar situation. Still, may I have your attention for one minute.
Our UT-cps-support
project will be evaluated at the end of this semester. Cps-survey results and
the number of preliminary sign-ups for the use of the system in the following
semesters will be used as a part of the evaluation. So far we have received
* 2 survey results
(out of about ~25 classes), and
* 5 signups for the
use of the system in fall04, compared to about 20 signups one year ago, at
about this time.
The continuation of
the present project depends on the timely support of enthusiatic users. Could
we count on your help to improve the above situation as described above?
1. To do a cps-survey, it will take about 10
minutes of your lecture time. For details see: #39 on the Bulletin at http://www.ph.utexas.edu/~ctalk/
2. If you are planning to use the system either
during summer04 or fall04, please signup asap, i.e. if you have not already
done so. It is at Sec. I.2 of our
homepage. (See also Bulletin #40)
Vicki has completed
updating all the cps-records. Please remind your students that the deadline for
complaints is the last day of class, Friday, May 7. (See Bulletin #41)
Thank you for your
attention. Could we count on your timely support?
