Questionnaires on using the
wireless system
We
are the first class in the UT Physics Department and second class on UT-campus
in pioneering the use of the CPS wireless system. The following set of
questions is similar to that given to the first UT-class. We would like to have
your feedback. To ensure the anonymity of the survey data, for this survey
please exchange remotes with your neighbor.
A. Yes:
82% B. No: 6% C. No opinion: 12%
2.

class?

Definitely reduces the likelihood:

B.
Somewhat
reduces the likelihood: 32%
C.

4. On a scale from A ( a lot)
to E (not at all), how much do you enjoy the use of this system?

C. Grading based on # of participations plus # of correct answers 14%

7. To use
the wireless cps-system, a student needs to buy a cps-remote from the UT-coop
bookstore. At the end of the
semester UT coop will buy it back (if it is not broken) for about half
of the cost. It is conceivable a student might
want
to keep the remote for future use. In each of the following semesters, a new
enrollment code (which costs
$10)
is required to enable the student to use the remote.
Taking into account that during a semester, a
student can, in principle, use his/her remote in as many classes where
cps-systems are in use, please select one of the choices below, which best
reflects your opinion concerning a student’s investment in using of the
wireless-cps system on the UT campus.
