Photos by David W. Nelson - I had already dinged my board on a bad jetty jump and got two small dings on my leg,
so I thought I would grab these shots off the jetty.It was overcast and these were the last pictures my camera took
as the waves were breaking over the jetties. The camera had served me well through the years , so no big deal.
Earlier that day my buddy Tom Saenz tried to talk me into going out to the end of the
jetties and jumping off , we did not and as I recall there were a few who did that got
swept out to sea , but rescued I heard later.
