All aspects of the campus environment are under review, including appearance, access, traffic patterns, parking, use of space and facilities (places to rest, dine, meet, restrooms, etc.), landscaping, pedestrian and bicycle pathways, and the relationship of the campus to the neighborhoods and businesses on the campus periphery. If you wish to provide suggestions for use during the master planning effort, please consider the following issues:
1. What is best about the UT Austin campus now? What element(s) or feature(s) of the campus do you appreciate most?
2. What isn't working and needs to be fixed?
3. Is there an area or an aspect of the campus that you consider unsafe? If so, where and why?
4. Is there an area or place on the campus that needs to be preserved at all costs? If yes, where?
5. What could be added to the campus that would make it more beneficial to your needs?
6. If you have visited or attended school at another campus, what feature(s) did you find most appealing there?
7. In order of priority, most important first, what changes (in any aspect of the campus) would you ask the Committee and the architects to consider?
8. Open response: In addition to your comments above, what would you like to see become a part of the campus architectural master plan? Creativity is welcomed.
9. Are you affiliated with UT Austin? (Current Student, Ex-Student, Faculty/Staff, etc.?)
Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire. This effort will provide a plan that will set the tone of our University well into the 21st century.
