Time and Mass

Study of the laws of nature. And we apply them to understand natural
phenomena.
- Mechanics:
Study the motion of objects.
- N-dimensional
space:

- In
your Quest account (which should have been created for you, if you are a
registered student in my class), go to Phy303K link to download HW1. Try
to get at least half of hw1 done before Friday’s class.
- We
plan to start using I-clickers next Wednesday (9/3), if the I-clicker system
is ready.
- Get
your I-clicker from UT Coop bookstore.
- In
your Quest account enter your I-clicker serial number for this course.
- Be
prepared to use the I-clicker in the Quiz mode.
- Read chapter
1, and chapter 2 up to Sec 2.4, Appendices: 2, 3, 4
- Although
hw1 is due at 4am, Wed 9/3 (think of it as Tuesday evening), you should
plan to get hw1 done by this weekend.
- Mark
your calendar: There will be a special instructor’s informal session this
Friday at 4pm in RLM5.116 to discuss students’ questions on HW1.
