How to determine your scaled score for an exam?

Within the Quest system your scaled score may be computed based on the data given at the bottom of the “Submitted Answers” page, which displays the details of grading.

The scaled score is defined by

sc=(rs-avg)´100/std + 500.

Example:

• RawScore: rs=120
• ClassAverage: avg=103.8
• Standard Deviation: std=28.3

For this example: sc=557.1.
