In preparation for the hands-on VPython session, it would be advisable to install VPython on your machine beforehand if you have the opportunity so that we have more time to learn the software. The time required for this is somewhere between five and ten minutes. All of the instructions for installation are on the "Model 0" pdf, above.
For the purposes of our session, it is important to install Python 2.X rather than 3.X. Also, on Macintosh computers I have had better success with 2.6.X than 2.7.X. All participants should bring their laptops to the session, if possible.
