Capacitor: A system of conductor or conductors used to store electric charge and electric energy

• A parallel-plate capacitor
• Capacitance: “Water-Beaker” analogy
• Capacitor with spherical symmetry

o Two concentric conducting shells

o One-sphere capacitor

• Series and parallel connections

• A simple example:
  C₁, C₂ and a battery are connected in series in loop.
