Righthand Rules, Instructor/TA help, Ap-record etc

1. It is important for you to master the three Right-Hand-Rules covered in class. You will be using them extensive in next several chapters. Practice these rules using following resources:

a. Textbook examples

b. IQ questions

c. HW problems

2. Just as a reminder, we are available to help you.

a. Attend TA help sessions.

b. Make use of Instructor’s office hours and instructor’s review sessions.

c. If needed, make appointment to see me or TA at other time.

d. See Instructor’s comments on Hints for HW4.

3. You should be familiar with the current homework set. After each lecture, proceed to work on those homework problems where the corresponding materials have been covered in class. Do not procrastinate.

4. Class attendance/participation (ap-) record is now available.

a. In your hw-service account: 4.2 semester grades.

b. On the Classtalk/CPS home page: 2.a Class records:

i. for the entire class, and

ii. for each student (login use your last name, and the last four digits of your ss#).
