Errors, queries and comments:
At the end of each chapter there is a link to the IQ-library board which
allows users to post comments, error reports etc. The intent of this board
is to help keep the library materials up to date.
About once a year, Dr. Chiu plans to visit the board and correct error
reports found on the board. If you want his immediate attention please
touch base with Dr. Chiu through email at firstname.lastname@example.org
If the update of the error report occurs during a semester, errors corrected
will be indicated in the iqerrata and correction date will be posted in
the table of contents after the title of the questions.

The term "IQ-questions" stands for Interactive Quiz questions. IQ questions
are a collection of "bite-size"questions. Many of these questions will
be covered during lectures. They often accentuate the key points, and nuances
in a lecture or a homework problem. Working through IQ-questions could
also be a regular activity in weekly TA sessions. ( For a general discussion
on the Interactive Quizzes and IQ-questions please click

Study the IQ questions in depth on a regular basis. Make sure that you
understand the physics. Write down an explanation for each question in
your own words. Your instructor and your TA will be glad give you their
comments on your writeups.
To keep up with the pace of this course, students should review at least
those IQ questions for the materials covered in the previous lecture.
As the semester goes along, you should plan to work through the entire
collection of IQ questions. If you have any queries or concerns on any
of these questions, make sure to get them resolved. For instance you may
discuss them with your classmates, bring them to your TA session, or consult
your instructor, etc.
Before each exam, among other things, make sure that you have gone through
the Physics of the IQ questions for that unit. Keep in mind, some questions
similar to IQ questions may appear in the exam.
