Shortly after Taro Tamura’s death (1998), we at The University of Texas at Austin, along with many of Dr. Tamura’s friends, established the Taro Tamura Memorial Fund for UT–Japanese Scientific Collaboration. This is now the 10th symposium in memory of Taro. The emphasis of the workshop will be heavy ion physics.

Topics include:

Jets in p+p, p(d)+A, and A+A Collisions
Heavy Flavor and Quarkonium Production
Electromagnetic Probes
Hadron Correlations and Fluctuations
QCD at High Temperature & Density
New Theoretical Developments (AdsCFT)
Future Experimental Facilities and Instrumentations
