Tamura Symposium
Heavy Ion Physics

Shortly after Taro Tamura’s death (1998), we at The University of Texas
at Austin, along with many of Dr. Tamura’s friends, established the Taro
Tamura Memorial Fund for UT–Japanese Scientific Collaboration.
This is now the 10th symposium
in memory of Taro.
The emphasis of the workshop will be heavy ion physics.
Topics include:
- Global and Collective Dynamics
- Jets in p+p, p(d)+A, and A+A Collisions
- Heavy Flavor and Quarkonium Production
- Electromagnetic Probes
- Hadron Correlations and Fluctuations
- QCD at High Temperature & Density
- New Theoretical Developments (AdsCFT)
- Future Experimental Facilities and Instrumentations
Previous Symposia
