• Demonstration includes a glasstube containing a penny and a feather.
• While the glasstube is filled with air allow the copper penny and feather to rest at one end of tube.
• Quickly bring the tube to a vertical position and watch the objects fall.
• Connect the tube to the pump. It takes less than 1 minute to pump air out of the tube.
• Close valve and disconnect from pump and repeat as with air.
• Tube is about 100 cm long.
