PIRA 4D30.10
Instructions / Notes:
- Small plastic spheres are confined to a cylinder by a piston whose motion
is damped by the attached copper sheet sliding through a magnet.
- The bottom of the piston is a variable speed rotor which kicks around
the spheres.
- Turn on the motor. As you turn up the speed the spheres will drive the
piston upward.
- A small mass can be added to the piston to show the effect of
increased "pressure" on the "molecules".
