Instructions / Notes:
- The RC Time Constant Demo consist of:
- a circuit board with four different resistors, 330 uF capacitor and a momentary switch
- PicoScope computer interface, which allows an Oscillscope type input
- Dell Laptop computer to be able to use the classroom projection system<

-
To perform the demo in its default set-up mode:
- the faculty member needs only to select the laptop display icon on the lectern control panel
- then briefly push down on the red momentary switch.
- It will take 7 seconds for the data run to be displayed - after the momentary switch is pressed.
- This wait time in a classroom setting will seem like an eternity
-
Demo Staff: The 110v power cord for the table and the VGA cable from demo to the laptop connection on the lectern need to be connected before turning on the the laptop in the classroom.
-
Choose the LRC Ringing Icon, resize the PicoScope window when it comes on, then click on the capturing mode button / icon on the lower left of the screen.
- Before leaving, look to the lower right corner of the screen and check to see if the capturing mode icon is on.
