PIRA 5L20.20 - RLC Circuits AC: RLC - Resonance

• Move the large knife switch in center of the circuit board to the AC position.

• Check to see the capacitor is not shorted. (See illustration below)

• Capacitor and Inductor are connected in series.

• Flip on the main power switch.
  

• Move the iron core in and out of the ~3 henry inductor coil.

• The light bulb's brightness indicates the resonance point.

• Demo Uses 120 V. A.C. Be cautious at what you touch. Disconnect After Each Use.
