Emission spectra from one of three spectral tubes or a tungsten filament are viewed through a diffraction grating.

Demo Staff: This demo needs to be set up on a large blue formica topped table.
The demo is best viewed with the room lights OFF.
- Tungsten filament lamp viewed from dead center.
The demo comes with three separately powered spectral tube holders.
- Rotate the front of the table slowly when showing one of the spectral tubes.
- Shown below is H2 in a darkened classroom.
