Physics 116L Laboratory
Fall 2004
Laboratory sections will begin meeting the second week of
classes:
Monday, February 2, 2004. Please
be sure
to read the manual and complete the first Pre-Lab (Pre-Lab 0) to be
prepared
for the first experiment (Experiment 0). Most experiments will be
completed and the laboratory report turned in during the laboratory
period. Some of the equipment to be used
differs from that described in the lab manual, especially the use of
computer-controlled instruments. The Manual Supplement describes the new
equipment and replaces Experiment 0) in the Manual.
Note that you
will be using some sensitive, delicate
instruments that can easily be damaged by misuse.
Read the
instructions in the
lab manual carefully and be sure you understand the procedures..
