The Chobe Game Lodge is located in the northeast corner of Botwsana. The nearest city is Kasane.
The lodge located in the Chobe Game Refuge is less than an hour drive from the Zimbabwe border.
Even outside of the game refuge, you'll notice lots of wildlife roaming about.
Here a couple of elephants forage near the road between Kasane and its airport.
Except for the Land Rover, the Chobe Reserve reminded me of the South Texas Brush Country.
Oh I forgot to mention that their cats are larger than what you'd see in South Texas.
February 2000 was unusually wet summer. Much of game animals were dispersed away from the river.
