An unknown MG owner views the classic lines of 1933 J2,
owned by Jack Simpson of Dallas
.

I call these cars eye candy. The T-Series are the last of the prewar
MGs in appearance with their vertical grill and classic fenders.

All of these T-Series MGs have been lovingly restored to their original beauty.

This is a lucky shot of a '39 TB along with its owner.
Vic Saveli. Pictured between the above J2 and a TD.

Above is a shot the interior of Vic's TB from the rear.
The digital camera doesn't do any of these cars justice.
The windshields on the T-series cars fold forward.
Here we see the optional speedster windscreens behind the main windshield.

Below is the more modern '50 TD. Gone are the front leaf springs.

The TDs, like the red one above, retained most of the prewar styling
even though were MG's mainstay during the early 1950's.

Below is a second red TD, which was parked beside it.

The TD's were evolved from the TC, which is pictured below.

This '49 TC shows some prewar traits such as the larger prewar wheels
and is missing the TD's chrome bumpers. I haven't a clue how Lisa Simpson got in this image.

Next, another TD with its successor the TF next door.
In the background sit a line of MGA's from the late '50's.
With the A-Series MGs came streamlined bodies and newer engine design.

A lone MG TF in attendance. The TFs came out in 1954, while
the Abingdon factory waited for an approval for the A-series.

That's Mark B standing with the above TF knowing that if he'd only
had his TF running, he'd be coming home with a second place trophy.

The MGA, the successor to the TF, came with a new streamline body shell
with classic lines and proportions matched by few automakers
.
